Harmattan season is upon us and its going to be battle between cold sores and cracked lips! The biggest fear for me is wearing matte lipstick! I can imagine the drying effect of the lipstick might not work well for my lips because even without harmattan i have to always wear a lip balm because my lips dry out really fast.
You can imagine my excitement about lipgloss! The science behind lipgloss is easy! It can be worn plain , or on top of lipstick!
From slick and glassy to pigmented and shimmery, I can’t help but fall in love with the versatility of it

Lipgloss can be worn by itself or over lipstick of choice! It is my absolute fave to go look for a smokey eye! If you are a messy or clumsy eater/drinker, wearing lipgloss might be a tad bit tricky because you could get it all over your face! NOT COOL! I find myself chewing, talking and drinking more ladylike to avoid messing up my face! LOL. Lipgloss creates a sensual look because of the juicy and soft look it gives the lips so this is always my go to look for date nights *wink*

I'll be showing you three different looks and the glosses I used to achieve these looks!

Here I am wearing just "Incolor Lipgloss in Honey" . You can notice that my lips are  not as pink so it comes off looking like a slightly brown colour!

Here I am wearing the Jordana Dark brown pencil as a liner, Zaron COSMETICS "butterscotch" lipstick in the centre and also Zaron Cosmetics Lipgloss in "flamingo Dance"

Both of this looks good for the daytime! If you want to rock a glossy look at night, go for the more pigmented lipgloss

Wearing Anastasia Beverly Hills Matte lipstick in Bloodline and Mac "Ruby woo" lipgloss.

If you haven't been on this lipgloss trend, get on it and protect your lips from chapping this harmattan season!
Cheers to sexy lips
